Join us on the pristine shores of Sri Lanka to immerse in daily yoga, the healing power of nature and ancient Ayurveda treatments. Be replenished and reconnect to your natural joy & align to your heart’s deepest truth.

YOGA + ayurveda /  Yoga + surfing

This year, you have the freedom to ‘choose your own adventure’ I am offering daily yoga and meditation practice in the open-air yoga shala, where you’ll have the sweet sound of the south Sri Lankan seas lulling you into Savasana! You then have the option to enjoy healing Ayurveda treatments to soothe and nurture you r body and mind or embrace the water element and learn to surf with Talalla’s world-renowned coaching program.

Over the course of the week, Amanda will guide you through the chakras and draw inspiration from their corresponding elements; earth, water, fire and air. Morning practice will be an invigorating vinyasa flow and sunset practice will restore balance with slow lunar sequences, yin yoga, pranayama, and meditation to elevate your consciousness.

Amanda Noga will escort you through daily yoga sadhana, an opportunity for self-enquiry, through this weeklong immersion, we will harmonise the layers of mind, body and soul. Amanda is a highly trained and experienced yoga instructor, with a serious love of yoga and a knack for bringing together inward reflection and playful creativity. Students often remark they love the balance of strong, dynamic movement and the quality of softness Amanda infuses into classes. I adore ancient yogic wisdom and love to share this passion in a way that empowers students to remember their own innate wisdom.

Tempt your yogi pals with Talalla retreat!

Sri Lanka is the spiritual home to countless ancient  stories and mythological characters. This tiny island off the coast of South India is potent sacred ground for thousands of kind natured Hindu and Buddhists. The people of Sri Lanka are supremely gentle, generous and make travelling here a real joy.

We will take several pilgrimages together to beautiful local Hindu and Buddhist temples; Mulkirigala Vihara Rock Temple IS One of Sri Lanka's oldest holy sites visited by several thousands of pilgrims annually. The different levels of caves with both reclining and sitting buddhas and ancient paintings depicting Buddhist philosophy are awe inspiring and some of the best in Sri Lanka.

We will have abundant time to relax and enjoy the tranquil Talalla beach with swimming and snorkelling, you also have the option to take surf lessons, spa treatments, visit national parks (at sunrise you can see elephants, leopards, monkeys and abundant birdlife drinking at the waterhole) Visit the famous Handunugoda Tea Plantation AND the south coast of Sri Lanka is one of the best sites in the world for seeing Blue whales. Boats leave at sunrise to go whale watching depending on the season.
